Just Like A Circus....

That Pretty much sums up my life at the moment!!! A Circus indeed...!! But of course, there is another reason for my title... and it is because I recently performed at 'Russells International Circus' in a town called Sherringham, (Norfolk area!?), and it was SO amazing and exciting!
Firstly all the acts and people who work and run the Circus were so lovely, welcoming and not to mention Super Talented!! WooowWeeeee... They had everything from Fire breathers, to hoola hoop acts and not to mention the aerial acts... This tiny beautiful girl was dangling from the Circus Top, twirling, and doing the splits so elegantly when someone came over, seeing my entranced - amazement and said "guess how old she is!?" (I was thinking 18-20, she must have had a LOT of experience for how amazing she was up there, right!?! WRONG!!!) "Shes 14..." FOURTEEN!?!?! Whaaaaat!?! That's Crazy!!! I was pretty much useless at 14!! How on earth did she learn that!?! ... and that's just one example of how amazing these guys were!!!
Any way... I had the wonderful opportunity to perform a 'Britney Circus Tribute' in a real live circus big top, and there were all these swinging, circling, mind-blowing and magical things going on around me while I was belting out my Britney Tracks and Hair flipping my way around the ring!!! :) unreal!
It was so much fun, and definitely something to remember forever!! So, A Big thank you to Britters!!

I have also been super busy not only doing my usual appearances, parties and Tribute stuff, but I have been working my B-hind off, recording my own Britney Tracks (which a few of them are now live on my official website for you to listen to if you would like... www.IsThisBritney.com) and I have been recording a brand spanking new video - I am beyond excited to show this to you guys, I have seen a small preview during the editing process and I can hardly contain myself!!! It is something I have been wanting to do for a long, long, time! Sooo once it is complete and in my hands, I will post!

Until then, Im out!! Take care my lovelies! Ciao xx

2013

Hey,

Once again it has been a while since I wrote a little catch up of what I have been up to, with Christmas and New Year I have been a little busy to say the least, I now finally have the chance to write a little catch up...

Some of the highlights before 2013 included working at a Christmas event at Madame Tussuad's in London... Pretend to be wax and make guests jump!!! I seriously cannot make this stuff up... I love it! How cool of a job is that!! I also appeared at London's Temple Walkabout Bar... where I partied with an awesome crowd... Talk about 'dance till the world ends'... :)

Along with a host of private events, mainly consisting of Birthdays, Anniversaries and Weddings, I also enjoyed attending charity events where-ever possible, and an amazing Christmas BBQ at my dear friend Colin's home... Colin is the UK's top Pavarotti Lookalike and impersonator, so you can imagine how interesting his parties become, with a spectrum of recognisable faces appearing throughout the night!!

Today I learned the sad news that Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have mutually agreed to end their year long engagement, I can only wish for both parties to be happy and healthy in the future and to stay strong through this difficult time. News has also emerged that Britney will NOT be returning to the next season of Xfactor USA, as she is currently working on her own music with hope of releasing her much anticipated 8th Album... Something I am personally looking forward to.

However its not all sad news for Britney Spears, personal life aside, he career is booming as the Song 'Scream & Shout' which she ft. alongside Will.i.am has topped the charts at number 1... A great start to the new year indeed...

I am looking forward to the experiance this year brings, and Most of all I would like to wish everybody a happy, healthy and prosperous 2013... May all your wishes come true xx

Catch Up

Hey Y'all,

Its been a while since I have posted, so I am going to have to catch you all up on some of my most recent / memorable events... (if your event isnt listed it doesnt mean it wasnt special to me... I just have to shorten this down a little...!!!)

OK, so I'll start with the Bollywood Video shoot... I cant tell too much detail yet but once the video has been edited up and released I will link it up so you can see it!
It was such a fun and crazy day... Not to mention a loooooong one!!!
I arrived a little later than some of the others as I had been at a wedding fayre earlier in Nottingham. The video was filmed in a gorgeous house in Leeds, it was gigantic, with a grand entrance and a beautiful wrap-round stair-case... Anyway, I'm getting distracted here... once I arrived we headed straight into make up, and got myself into my outfit for the video! There is always a lot of waiting around at these things so most of the day consisted of that!!! Filming is always short and quick then you wait a while then film a little more and so on...
There were lots of other amazing lookalikes there, as the theme was a crazy house party! So lookalike wise there was, Will Smith, Mr T, David Beckham, Austin Powers, and Simon Cowell, some of whom I had the pleasure of meeting for the first time and some who I know really well, mainly from our trip to Dubai! 'Austin Powers' was someone who I had met for the first time, who was of course lovely and hilarious... just like the real deal! Every lookalike I have ever worked with or met has been adorable and so kind! It is like a family reunion! I love it!
Here's a sneak picture of myself and Brain as Austin from the day. :)
There was a cool scene of myself and Austin at the party which I cannot wait to see! It should be hilarious! We finished filming around 11pm, and it was early morning by the time I got home... but it was an awesome day!

I have also been to a few charity events, Me and Dee, was one of the earlier ones, and was such a fantastic night! They had a live band, beautiful food, awards and so much more. I went along to this with fellow lookalikes Blondie, Simon Cowell and the late Mr Pavarotti! (also my extended family members!!!) We greeted people as they arrived, gave out awards and had loads of professional photos with guests, which they could buy a copy of on the night, with the proceeds going to charity!
I wore a replica dress to one Britney had worn to the X Factor Auditions in Austin. Its one of my favourite.
Strange enough I also bumped into another friend of mine that night who we had all worked with on a episode of BBC's 'Doctors'. Nicola Marie had also just been on the X Factor and made it all the way to judges houses... I'm so proud of her! She is a fabulous entertainer, although she wasn't performing that night she was there purely as a guest!! A night off!!! She performs an amazing tribute to Lady GaGa, Amy Whinehouse and Madonna too!!

From Left to Right: Andy Monk as Simon Cowell, Rose Cook as Blondie, Nicola Marie, Myself as Britney Spears and the fabulous Colin Miller as Pavarotti.

Moving on... I also attended an evening at the lovely Emilio's Greek Restaurant in Arnold Nottingham. They serve beautiful food, when you are there you feel as though you are on holiday, with their Greek dancing, singing and their very own Belly Dancer! It is a lovely night. I will be there again on November 9th 2012, for a Children in Need event! which should also be a great night! We were joined by a newbie lookalike too, a friend of mine, called Sean, who is always being mistaken for Lamar!!! I passed him on to Colin who was sure to take him under his wing and help him a long!!
What do y'all think to our Lamar???
Sean as Lamar and me at Emilio's Greek Restaurant.

OK, jumping forward to this weekend just passed, I had another Video shoot, which was soooooo much fun! It was filmed in Northampton and is going to be a spoof video, of which I will tell you more once it has been released!! I had taken part in it with some other lookalike friends of mine. Unfortunately I cant add a picture yet as it will give too much away. Sorry!! :(

I had the pleasure of performing my Tribute show at a wedding in Newark this weekend too!! They had one of those cool photo-booths you go in and get to act super silly and get awesome pictures from the night. I Love nothing more than a little silly session!!! I'm a dork!!!
So I thought Id post a picture, just because I think they're brilliant...
Here I am with Debs the Bride (right) and one of her guests (left).

Well I will try and keep everything up to date and once the videos are released I will post them up!!
Thanks for reading :)

Dont Tell The Bride... BBC Three

I recently had the pleasure of being part of a lovely young couples wedding which was being filmed for BBC Three's latest series of 'Dont Tell The Bride'. I regularly watch this programme myself, I think it is brilliant, so to be part of an episode was an honour and great fun!

The Groom, Adam, is given a budget to organise his and his future-wife, Lydia's wedding, Lydia doesn't get any say in what he plans and organises... He chooses everything down to the cake, invitations and even the Wedding dress for his Bride... I cant even begin to imagine going through with something like that myself!?! It makes very good TV!

I don't want to give too much away before the show is aired, but I can show a link to a sneak preview which is now being shown on the BBC Three's website....

Watch the preview here!

It's quite exciting, yet also nerve-wracking, waiting to watch your TV appearance, you never quite know what to expect, you could be shown in an awful light just for entertainment value, or they could show a true representation, it can be very daunting!

The full show will be aired on BBC Three on Tuesday 4th August 2012, at 9pm

Make Sure You Don't Miss The Show!!! x

Photoshoot results...

Femme Fatale - Britney Lookalike

I recently worked on a photoshoot with a good friend friend of mine, Simon Deacon, we collected together a host of images of Britney and re-created the scenes the best we could! It always gives me a boost doing photo sessions, good memories emerge and I feel comfortable, I did a little modelling work in my late teens so once we got going it felt great, it also helped that Simon is such a lovely, geniune guy... a true professional.
Anyway after hours of sorting through hundreds of photos, and all the time and effort Simon had put into arranging and cleaning up and shots I finally have a nice selection of Britney Pics that I love and am really pleased with, heres just a few - I have many more on my website too for anyone who might be interested. (www.IsThisBritney.com)
So a massive Thank You to my good friend Simon, and I hope everyone likes the pictures we produced! :)
Much Love x
