Catch Up

Hey Y'all,

Its been a while since I have posted, so I am going to have to catch you all up on some of my most recent / memorable events... (if your event isnt listed it doesnt mean it wasnt special to me... I just have to shorten this down a little...!!!)

OK, so I'll start with the Bollywood Video shoot... I cant tell too much detail yet but once the video has been edited up and released I will link it up so you can see it!
It was such a fun and crazy day... Not to mention a loooooong one!!!
I arrived a little later than some of the others as I had been at a wedding fayre earlier in Nottingham. The video was filmed in a gorgeous house in Leeds, it was gigantic, with a grand entrance and a beautiful wrap-round stair-case... Anyway, I'm getting distracted here... once I arrived we headed straight into make up, and got myself into my outfit for the video! There is always a lot of waiting around at these things so most of the day consisted of that!!! Filming is always short and quick then you wait a while then film a little more and so on...
There were lots of other amazing lookalikes there, as the theme was a crazy house party! So lookalike wise there was, Will Smith, Mr T, David Beckham, Austin Powers, and Simon Cowell, some of whom I had the pleasure of meeting for the first time and some who I know really well, mainly from our trip to Dubai! 'Austin Powers' was someone who I had met for the first time, who was of course lovely and hilarious... just like the real deal! Every lookalike I have ever worked with or met has been adorable and so kind! It is like a family reunion! I love it!
Here's a sneak picture of myself and Brain as Austin from the day. :)
There was a cool scene of myself and Austin at the party which I cannot wait to see! It should be hilarious! We finished filming around 11pm, and it was early morning by the time I got home... but it was an awesome day!

I have also been to a few charity events, Me and Dee, was one of the earlier ones, and was such a fantastic night! They had a live band, beautiful food, awards and so much more. I went along to this with fellow lookalikes Blondie, Simon Cowell and the late Mr Pavarotti! (also my extended family members!!!) We greeted people as they arrived, gave out awards and had loads of professional photos with guests, which they could buy a copy of on the night, with the proceeds going to charity!
I wore a replica dress to one Britney had worn to the X Factor Auditions in Austin. Its one of my favourite.
Strange enough I also bumped into another friend of mine that night who we had all worked with on a episode of BBC's 'Doctors'. Nicola Marie had also just been on the X Factor and made it all the way to judges houses... I'm so proud of her! She is a fabulous entertainer, although she wasn't performing that night she was there purely as a guest!! A night off!!! She performs an amazing tribute to Lady GaGa, Amy Whinehouse and Madonna too!!

From Left to Right: Andy Monk as Simon Cowell, Rose Cook as Blondie, Nicola Marie, Myself as Britney Spears and the fabulous Colin Miller as Pavarotti.

Moving on... I also attended an evening at the lovely Emilio's Greek Restaurant in Arnold Nottingham. They serve beautiful food, when you are there you feel as though you are on holiday, with their Greek dancing, singing and their very own Belly Dancer! It is a lovely night. I will be there again on November 9th 2012, for a Children in Need event! which should also be a great night! We were joined by a newbie lookalike too, a friend of mine, called Sean, who is always being mistaken for Lamar!!! I passed him on to Colin who was sure to take him under his wing and help him a long!!
What do y'all think to our Lamar???

OK, jumping forward to this weekend just passed, I had another Video shoot, which was soooooo much fun! It was filmed in Northampton and is going to be a spoof video, of which I will tell you more once it has been released!! I had taken part in it with some other lookalike friends of mine. Unfortunately I cant add a picture yet as it will give too much away. Sorry!! :(

I had the pleasure of performing my Tribute show at a wedding in Newark this weekend too!! They had one of those cool photo-booths you go in and get to act super silly and get awesome pictures from the night. I Love nothing more than a little silly session!!! I'm a dork!!!
So I thought Id post a picture, just because I think they're brilliant...
Here I am with Debs the Bride (right) and one of her guests (left).

Well I will try and keep everything up to date and once the videos are released I will post them up!!
Thanks for reading :)
